Sunrise over the hill - The power of RAW (camera files)
It was the 2008 , the sun was rising over the hills, near my home.
I shot 3 photos, to try to do an HDR image... but at the time the HDR software was clunky and slow, and those image went asleep on the disk of my PC...
Fast forward to 2015: faster PC and better software! Now I can create an HDR image with just some click!
Finally I can show you what I saw that morning, 7 years ago :-)
This image has been made by joining 3 different RAW exposure with HDR software, and then tweaking the usual setting (contrast, saturations...)
RAW files are powerful! :-)

Solar Eclipse of March 20, 2015. Seen from Italy
Some photos of the March 20 Solar Eclipse, 2015, seen from Italy (Parma) :-)
Not bad for a compact camera (Sony RX100M3) and some cheap ND filter :-)
(The original photos have been heavily cropped to produce these images.)
